Client Support Services

Client Support Services (CSS)

Lighthouse provides in-home training and services to ensure the basic needs of our home-bound clients are being met.

  • We help home-bound clients with getting groceries and medications; provide wellness calls; vision loss counseling and training for independence over the phone; assistance with registering for talking books, handicapped placards and money identifiers; and help with marking appliances and phones and making address books.
  • Our clients are invited to participate in Support Groups and Hot Topics conference calls. Support groups are held twice a month, in person at the Lighthouse and by conference call. “Hot Topics” are held 4 to 6 times per month and cover a variety of subjects that help with independence while providing social support. The schedule on our website is updated every month.
  • Clients also receive recorded phone messages and emails each month to stay up-to-date on LVIB programs and services. If you have any difficulty hearing our recorded messages, call us at 727-815-0303 or 352-754-1132 and we will read our messages to you. If you want to be on the email list, please provide your email address.

We encourage anyone in need of LVIB programs and services to call us to find out how we can help.
