Benefiting Lighthouse Programs & Services for People who are Visually Impaired

In 2020, we had to cancel the Annual Chasco Coronation Ball because of the pandemic and unfortunately, although our world was starting to return to normal, we just weren’t comfortable enough to host the Ball in 2021. However, thanks to Steve Schurdell and Hits 106.3 FM, LVIB held a Radio Fundraiser! On April 21, supporters tuned in to Hits 106.3 or followed the event on Facebook. They heard from our reigning King Pithla & Queen Chasco, Paul Friedlander & Lisa Shippy-Gonzalez, as well as a few other individuals who included our CEO Stefanie Pontlitz and our Lighthouse teens! All of these wonderful radio interviews are posted on Facebook. During the Radio Fundraiser, we received over $25,000 in donations. At the end of the event, we extended the deadline to April 30.

Even though the deadline has passed, you can help us provide programs and services to people who are visually impaired:
