Benefiting Lighthouse Services for People who are Visually Impaired

Lighthouse’s “Donating in the Light” was held VIRTUALLY on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 6 p.m to raise funds for Lighthouse services provided to people who are visually impaired and blind. Thank you to everyone who attended, donated prize items, made donations for the cause or the prize wheel, or sponsored Donating in the Light. The event raised over $23,000 for services—we are so grateful for your support. Because of you, our Lighthouse family has gotten a little bigger and we are better able to meet our mission! • After the event, all the winners will be posted on lvib.org and on social media. The winners will then be contacted individually to arrange for deliveries & pickups.
• Prizes can be delivered free of charge to winners in Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Pinellas, and Hillsborough.
• Prizes will also be available at either Lighthouse (New Port Richey or Brooksville) for scheduled pickups during business hours. Photo ID is required for package pickups.
• You must be of legal drinking age to win a prize that contains alcohol.

About “Donating in the Light”

Our annual “Dining in the Dark” Gala has been one of our main fundraisers for years, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to hold an in-person event this year. But with disappointment comes imagination, excitement, and the creation of our “Donating in the Light” event!!!
