Vocational Rehabilitation

The Vocational Rehabilitation/Job Readiness Program provides individuals who are visually impaired and blind with the training and skills needed for employment. National statistics indicate that 70% of adults with visual impairments are unemployed or underemployed. Through training, public awareness, and education efforts, the Lighthouse is working to ensure businesses and other members of the community know about the abilities of workers who are visually impaired and blind.
