PORT RICHEY, FL – Feb. 21, 2017. The Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind is holding the 32nd Annual Coronation Ball on Friday, March 24, 2017, at Spartan Manor in New Port Richey. This event, which is the kickoff to the Chasco Fiesta, raises funds to support the blind babies, children’s and teen programs offered at the Lighthouse. It also recognizes local philanthropists for their dedication and commitment to our community—a celebration of nominees culminates in a Royal Coronation that is held at the Ball, in order to crown the newest King Pithla and Queen Chasco.
Nominations for the 2017 King Pithla and Queen Chasco are now being accepted. We encourage clubs and organizations to submit the names of deserving community volunteers, as this is a rare opportunity to acknowledge those people who have helped to make our community a better place to live. Nominations forms can be downloaded from the Lighthouse website at www.lvib.org/events/ball/. NOMINATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN March 10, 2017.
The Ball is an important fundraising event for the Lighthouse. Funds for services are raised through activities which include sponsorship, reservations, donations, a charity raffle, and advertising opportunities.
Reservations and sponsorships are also being accepted. For sponsorship opportunities, reservations, and more information on the Chasco Coronation Ball, visit our website or contact Event Chair Jamie Mick at email@example.com or 727-642-8041.
